Lets try some new type of upma.

I guess you all are just bored of preparing the same plane old type of upma?? no problem here i am to help you to get a new twist in your upma 🙂 yes a new way of preparing upma and here you go below for the recipe.

Methi-Palak-Upma

ing:-

suji ( rawa) – 1cup roasted in 1tbsp ghee or dry roast ( optional)

chanadal – 2tbsp

mustard – 1tbsp

zeera – 1tbsp

salt – to taste

onion – 1-chopped

green-chili – 4-5 chopped

curry leaves – 5-6

methe – half bunch chopped

palak – half bunch chopped

coriander – for garnish

ginger – grated 1tbsp

lemon – 1full

methi- powder – half tbsp

oil – 5tbsp

water – 2cups

ghee – 2tbsp ( optional )  for rich taste 

Method:-

1- Take a pan to add oil 

2- once heated add mustard,zeera, dal & fry till light golden-brown

3- now add methi- powder, curry-leaves, ginger, chili, onion & fry till all get well cooked 

4- now add meth-palak and cook for 2mnts

5-add salt, water & lemon

6- once water starts boiling add suji and cook on medium flame

7- once done add ghee 

8- garnish with coriander 

9 – serve hot …
